Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Computing and Informatics is one of the newly approved and established departments in this great citadel of learning. The department started admitting students during the Harmattan Semester of the 2019/2020 academic session.
The Department offers one of the highly sought for degrees worldwide because of its relevance and prominent roles in the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).

The Department is parading more than twenty (20) astute scholars and relevant professionals who are poised to provide home-grown, real-time and research-based solutions to the myriad problems encountered in computing and allied fields.
It is pertinent to also mention that The Department is geared towards building up national capacity in ICT through innovative, dynamic, responsive and effective education and training with up-to-date curriculum, modern and advanced technology alongside applied and innovative research.
