Dr (Mrs) Ajala bagged both her Master and PhD degree in Computer Science in 2006 and 2012 respectively in Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH). Her research interests are Pattern Recognition, Biometric Systems, E- Health and Telemedicine. She joined the service of LAUTECH as Assistant Lecturer in January 2007 and she climbed every rung of university promotion ladder from being an Assistant Lecturer in 2007, Lecturer II also in 2007, Lecturer I in 2009, Senior Lecturer in 2012 and to becoming a Reader in October 2015. She is a registered member of Computer Professional Council of Nigeria (CPN) and Nigeria Computer Society (NCS).
Dr (Mrs) Ajala has served as external examiner for both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in many universities and served as a member of various standing and Ad-Hoc Committees at the Department, Faculty and University. She has successfully supervised research works of more than 75 undergraduate and postgraduate students.
She is a member of a leading research group called e-health and Telemedicine in LAUTECH. She has attended several scientific conferences, workshops, seminars in addition to being a well published computer scientist as evident by her numerous articles (more than 60) in peer reviewed journals both in offshore and onshore journals and conference proceedings. She is presently the Acting Head of Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computing and Informatics, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso.
